After months of hard work and planning, Novaskill can finally announce their expansion into regional NSW.  Novaskill New England is the team’s newest business venture and their absolutely thrilled to be setting up shop in Tamworth.

Novaskill’s General Manager, Amanda Saunders believes it’s the perfect time to invest in a community with such potential and talent, “Some time ago, we identified the considerable opportunities for our business to partner with the Tamworth community and support their mission to meet current industry demands for skilled workers.” “After many months of industry consultations, friendly introductions, and successful trials, the team are extremely excited be offering a suite of services to this booming region.

“Support for local employers and job seekers is at an all-time high. It’s never been a better time to invest in your workforce, and Novaskill are well positioned to help the community navigate this sometimes tricky world of Vocational Training” Mrs Saunders said.

As outlined in the New England North West Local Jobs plan – October 2020, the community are looking for providers in the region to create employment opportunities, meet local employer demands and better skill local job seekers. Novaskill will kick-off services focusing on Employability Skills Training, Indigenous Mentoring Services, and Nationally Recognised Training in key areas of demand, such as aged care and business.

Novaskill are a Smart and Skilled provider for the New England region, with wide access to funded training for all types of students, however, the initial focus will be on the much-needed Individual Support and Aged Care Training. This industry will require a lot of skilled workers over the next 5 years, and Novaskill plans to be part of this evolution.

“As our first cohort of students gets underway, we eagerly await their good news stories and look forward to hearing of successful employment outcomes.”
