Novaskill’s story is one of development, re-imagining and new beginnings. Since 1980 we have set about supporting and advancing individuals via education and employment. Our commitment and leadership to the provision of fundamental, foundational workforce solutions, has transformed clients, partners, employers and communities as a whole.

Novaskill is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers training, recruitment services and apprenticeship management. This is achieved through the provision of an individualised approach to all clientele, job matching technology, mentoring services and systems that support over 700 corporate businesses and over 1000 students per annum.


Novaskill is a leading workforce education provider, passionate about connecting people to a world of learning, jobs and personal development.

We have extensive experience in the development, implementation and execution of training projects for national clients, government, employers and for individuals. Our success stems from quality product and service interactions, that ensure educational and employment goals of our clients are achieved.

Each year we train more than 1000 people across the country and currently have a client list in excess of 700 enterprises, comprised of large corporate clients through to small businesses.

We value our partnerships with businesses providing employment and training opportunities for many local residents.  We understand that by building and skilling people, the capacity and potential of the local labour force is greatly increased.

Board of Directors

As a not for profit entity, Novaskill is governed by a Board of Directors, guided by a Memorandum and Articles of Association. The Board’s membership provides a stable platform that meets monthly to review company operations and performance, ensuring that the Company is achieving its organisational and contractual objectives. Comprised of the following six professionals whose strategic and operational experience adds value to Novaskill’s governance, risk management and quality assurance frameworks:

HGT Australia International College

In 2015, in response to ongoing demand to provide our training services internationally, HGT established the HGT Australia International College. The International College represents a significant investment for HGT and our most important priority for the organisation. The Board of Directors and Managing Director have approved a strategic direction that ensures the financial viability of the international expansion of HGT Australia International College into China. HGT Australia is an Australia vocational education only focused on the Chinese market.

HGT Australia International College has been working closely with aged care facilities in both Australia and China to help address the growing need for staff training and development within the healthcare and aged care industry.

Established in 1980, HGT Australia is financially stable, not-for-profit organisation. Limited by guarantee, HGT Australia, trading as Novaskill, has won many prestigious awards and continues it strong performance through out Australia.
