Warehousing Traineeship

About the position

Our team is calling on candidates seeking a Warehousing Traineeship to join a fast-paced team in the Newcastle area.

Working with our host company, we are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in completing a Certificate III Warehouse Operations. The successful applicant will complete this traineeship over 24 months while gaining on the job experience with a nationally recognised company.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Picking and packing
  • Unloading pallets
  • Manual handling of materials
  • Standard warehousing maintenance
  • Operating a forklift
  • Follow all WHS policies and procedures
  • Complete all on and off training to a high standard

Who we’re looking for

To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and have willingness to learn
  • White Card
  • Car licence and reliable transport
  • Forklift licence advantageous
