The Opportunity
Novaskill has partner with Northern Beaches Council, and is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Community and Recreation – Sports and Recreation Team as an Aquatics and Recreation Trainee.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation.
About The Role
- Assisting with lifeguarding and pool supervision.
- Providing excellent customer service to patrons.
- Supporting swim school programs, including learn-to-swim and squad training.
- Working with workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures.
- Assisting with centre administration and daily operations.
- Understanding the responsibilities and standards of the Royal Life Saving Society (Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics & Recreation).

Motivated, reliable and eager to learn.
Passionate about the aquatic and recreation industry.
Comfortable working in customer-centred environment.
Able to follow safety guidelines and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
