Roof Plumbing Apprenticeship

The Opportunity – 

Novaskill is currently partnered with a range of local businesses who are offering multiple Roof Plumbing Apprenticeship opportunities, including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.

You’ll be completing a Certificate III in Roof Plumbing whilst gaining exposure to working on residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

 

Learnings – 

• Select and install roof sheeting and wall cladding
• Work with non-metallic roof materials
• Cut and join sheet metal
• Install roof components and insulation
• Install fascias, gutters, downpipes, valley gutters, ridge capping and flashing

Outcomes – 

• Install roof sheeting, flashings, roof drainage components and roof penetrations such as skylights
• Work with different metal materials for roofs, gutters and downpipes
• Build a strong pathway to continue your study and enhance your career opportunities as a tradesman within the roof plumbing industry
• Develop the skills and knowledge to start your own business as an endorsed licensee within the roof plumbing industry

About You –

• Demonstrated commitment to completing your study whilst balancing working
• Have time management, attention to detail, planning and organisational skills

• Drivers Licence & Reliable Transport is desirable
• White Card or willingness to obtain
