What is the role?
The Administration Officer for the Northern Rivers GTO team provides vital support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities. This role is responsible for managing a range of administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, scheduling, and responding to enquiries from apprentices, trainees, and host employers. Working closely with the field officers and management team, the Administration Officer helps maintain accurate records, coordinates communication, and supports the delivery of quality training and employment services across the Northern Rivers region.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide administrative support to the GTO team and management
- Maintain accurate apprentice, trainee, and host employer records in relevant systems
- Assist with scheduling meetings, site visits, and appointments
- Respond to phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
- Support onboarding, compliance, and reporting processes
- Support with recruitment
- Completion of data entry, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with internal communications and team coordination
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.

The successful applicant will:
- Be well organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a busy team
- Be able to manage and prioritise contending tasks and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Possess high attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- A current drivers license and own vehicle
