Whether you’re fresh out of school or already part-way through your apprenticeship, Novaskill Is teaming up with trusted local employers to offer multiple apprenticeship opportunities across the Newcastle and Hunter regions!

This is your chance to earn while you learn, gain hands-on experience in solar, domestic, commercial and industrial environments, and work towards a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, all with ongoing mentoring and support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Learning the ropes on national and local electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Using various tools like multimeters to test voltage, current and continuity
  • Measuring, cutting and installing conduit and running wiring
  • Keeping the worksite safe by following safety protocols and using PPE equipment
  • Learning to install and maintain wiring, lighting, switchboards and more

  • Are committed to completing their studies while working
  • Have solid time management and attention to detail
  • Are reliable, motivated and ready to learn
  • Hold a drivers license and have reliable transport
  • Have a White Card (or are willing to get one)
