Novaskill, in partnership with Northern Beaches Council, is excited to offer a full-time, paid traineeship at these beautiful Northern Beaches locations. Gain real-world experience, earn a nationally recognised qualification, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young children.
About the Role
As a trainee, you will join a supportive and passionate team dedicated to creating safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Supporting play-based learning and group activities
- Assisting with children’s routines, including hygiene, meals, and rest
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and your team
- Learning and applying the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Observing and reflecting on children’s development and learning journeys

About You

- Is at least 18 years old and ready to commit to study
To Be Eligible, You Will Need
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis) — can be completed after starting
