Novaskill, in partnership with Northern Beaches Council, is excited to offer a full-time, paid traineeship at these beautiful Northern Beaches locations. Gain real-world experience, earn a nationally recognised qualification, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young children.

About the Role

As a trainee, you will join a supportive and passionate team dedicated to creating safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting play-based learning and group activities
  • Assisting with children’s routines, including hygiene, meals, and rest
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and your team
  • Learning and applying the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Observing and reflecting on children’s development and learning journeys

To Be Eligible, You Will Need

  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis) — can be completed after starting
