About the Role
As a trainee, you’ll work closely with clients to provide compassionate care and support, including:
- Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care
- Supporting clients’ independence and wellbeing
- Implementing care plans and activity programs
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Preparing and cooking meals
What You’ll Gain:
- A nationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) over 24 months
- Hands-on experience working directly with clients in the community
- Confidence supporting people with diverse needs and abilities
- Mastery of communication, empathy, and practical care skills
- Clear pathways for career progression in disability and aged care sectors
What You’ll Need:
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for shift work including days, nights, and weekends
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Check and orientation modules
- Physically fit and calm under pressure
- Commitment to inclusive care and CA Care Services’ values
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience in disability, aged care, or independent support; report writing; leadership skills; and a willingness to learn.
