Novaskill is pumped to be teaming up with a leading construction company working on residential and commercial builds around Newcastle, to bring you an awesome Construction Traineeship! This is your chance to get hands-on experience, ongoing mentoring, and the support you need to kickstart a rewarding career in the booming construction industry.
You’ll complete a nationally recognised Certificate II in Construction, gaining real-world skills while making valuable industry connections. Plus, this traineeship sets you up with a strong pathway to move into a Carpentry apprenticeship – opening doors to even bigger opportunities.
What You’ll Learn
Confidently read and interpret construction plans and drawings
Accurately carry out measurements and perform essential calculations
Safely and effectively use a broad range of construction tools and equipment
Understand and apply Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards to maintain a safe work environment
What You’ll Gain

We are after someone with a driver’s license (or working on getting one) and reliable transport, but this isn’t a deal breaker
