The Position

As a 2nd-year apprentice, you’ll gain practical experience and develop expertise in:

  • Fabricating and welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
  • Safely operating workshop machinery including press brakes, shears, rolls, plasma cutters, grinders, and drills
  • Assembling structural, mechanical, and sound attenuation components to precise specifications

About You

We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable 2nd-year apprentices with:

  • A driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred)
  • A genuine passion for learning and skill development
  • Strong interest in metalwork and machinery
  • Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and completing projects
  • Motivation to complete the full apprenticeship term and training requirements
  • Welding experience with structural steel 10ml is highly desirable
