This qualification provides a trade outcome in carpentry, covering work in residential and commercial applications. Occupational titles may include:

This qualification requires work placement to give you real life, on-the-job experience and the opportunity to practice what you learn. It is suggested that at least 120 hours of workplace hours are completed.
Some units in this qualification may have prerequisite requirements, which must be met when packaging the qualification. Students may be required to undertake an initial pre-enrolment assessment to determine their suitability for this level of study. To enrol in this course a student must have a Construction Induction White Card. Please ask for details.

Graduates may choose to further their study through enrolment in CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) or CPC40508 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Site Management). *Novaskill may not offer these qualifications.
