Certificate III in Individual Support

This is the latest and minimum qualification requirement for people working in the aged services environment. Develop and practise specialist skills for offering personal client support.

The course covers core aged care skills and procedures, with real workplace experience.

The Certificate III in Individual Support has been developed to offer participants skills with practical applications in the aged services either in residential, home or community based environments. This course covers all aspects of working with the aged from quality service delivery through to the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.

Who is this for?

The Certificate III in Individual Support has been developed for people who are seeking to or are working in direct care within the aged care industry and require formal qualifications as an patient care assistant. Specialisations in Disability and Home Care are also available.

Students must undertake an initial pre-enrolment assessment to determine their suitability for this level of study. International students require IELTS 5.5 (min) or equivalent.

Training and Assessment is available by mixed mode, combining online theory with face to face seminars and classroom courses either one day per week or per fortnight.
