Wall and Floor Tiling Apprenticeship

About the position

Do you like to work with your hands? Are you after a job with both creative and practical elements?

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Tiler for an immediate start with a local business. This apprenticeship will provide you with the skills and workmanship to see you excel in your career.

As an apprentice, this is a great opportunity to learn an in-demand trade in the booming construction industry. You will receive valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Placing adhesive onto tiles and their surfaces
  • Applying waterproofing systems
  • Ensuring tiles are correctly cut and shaped
  • Creating patterns and mosaics
  • Grouting tiles and removing excess

Who we’re looking for

To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Driver’s licence and reliable transport essential
  • Completion of Year 10 as a minimum
  • Strong communication and literacy skills
  • Current Construction Industry White Card (or ability to obtain one)
  • Enjoy manual work
  • A keen eye for detail
