About the position
Novaskill are currently seeking a Apprentice Painter to join a local and reputable business based in Belmont North.
This locally owned business specialises in the Painting and Decorating of residential and commercial projects. They are now seeking a motivated and hardworking apprentice to join their team of highly skilled tradespeople and contribute to the quality work that they produce to their clients.
Full training will be provided and an opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating whilst earning a competitive wage.
The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper
- Erecting scaffold, cradles and ladders
- Removing old paint or paper by sanding and scraping
- Brushing, rolling or spray painting
- Staining and varnishing
Who we’re looking for
To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Motivated and positive work ethic and attitude
- White Card
- Drivers licence and own transport
- Ability to work within a team and independently
