About the position

This opportunity is a great chance to be an integral part of a small business and be exposed to every aspect of running a café from the ground up whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification that is a stepping stone to ultimately becoming a qualified Chef or Barista.
As well as preparing and presenting a range of food items in accordance with food safety, you will also be response for washing and putting away dishes and kitchen utensils and keeping the workplace clean and tidy.
In addition, you will have the change to make a range of hot beverage items such as cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites and delivering excellent customer service and communicating with a range of people.
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for creating food and beverages and learning the day to day operations of a small café.
To be successful in this position, you will have a passion for food and display good communication and people skills.
Punctually and reliability and a strong work ethic is essential for this role.
