About the position
Do you have a passion for the outdoors? We have an exciting entry level opportunity for a motivated, reliable, and energetic Horticulture Trainee to join our team. This diverse role is ideal for someone who is wanting to combine their desire to learn with on the job training, all whilst working outside. As part of this role your daily duties will cover a broad range of areas including but not limited to:
- Contributing to the planting and transplanting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns
- Using a variety of techniques to construct gardens such as importing soil, mulching, fertilising, trimming, and watering gardens
- Assisting in concreting, turfing and timber work
- Installing, cleaning, operating, and maintaining gardens, irrigation, and drainage systems
To be considered for this position candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Drivers licence (P1 or above)
- Committed to completing Certificate III in Horticulture
- Understanding of WHS requirements
