About the position

If you have a keen eye for detail and appreciate flawless finishes, then this Flooring Apprenticeship is the perfect position for you!

This Flooring Technology Apprenticeship will provide you with the perfect mix practical on-the job training and theory training allowing you to excel in your trade.

During your apprenticeship, you will be mentored and supported by qualified trades people and will have the opportunity to learn the intricacies and skills required to install a wide range of floors and flooring materials.

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing flooring surfaces
  • Installing and finishing carpet, resilient, vinyl and timber flooring materials
  • Identifying damages and areas in need of repair
  • Organising supplies and equipment
  • Following WHS policies and procedures


Who we’re looking for

To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Driver’s license and reliable transport essential
  • Hold a current WHS Construction White Card
  • Ability to travel to different locations
  • A willingness to develop skills and knowledge
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions and ask for assistance when needed
