About the position
In search for a position that will give you the head start you need to get yourself into the Civil Construction industry?
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates to complete a Civil Construction Apprenticeship with one of our reputable hosts in Somersby. You will learn how to build and construct anything from residential homes to high-rise buildings and bridges. This company provides services to major civil projects for several Australian industries and are looking for another member to join their highly skilled team!
The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Operate plant machinery and use power tools
- Complete daily risk assessments and adhere to WHS Policies and Procedures
- Develop skills to safely operate plant equipment such as loaders, trucks, rollers, tractors, and backhoes as directed
- Maintain site records, carry out measurements and plan and organise activities
Who we’re looking for
To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Drivers licence and reliable transport essential
- Current WHS Industry White Card or willingness to obtain
- Genuine interest in Civil Construction and pursuing it as a career
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a diverse team and high attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to surrounding suburbs
