About the position
Novaskill Group Training in partnership with our host employers in the Northern Rivers are currently seeking expressions of interest for Business Traineeships. Full training will be provided and an opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Business or Business Administration while earning a competitive wage.
What to expect
As a Business Trainee, you’ll have the opportunity to be working (and earning!) in a real business. You will learn everything from the day-to-day operations of the business to the development of sales plans.
With Business Traineeship positions in a range of industries such as: VET sector, Law, Real Estate, Medical and more; the opportunities are endless.
What skills will I learn?
One of the best parts about a Business Traineeship is the absolute bucket load of transferable or life skills you learn. Some of these are:
- Problem solving skills
- Confidence and effective communication skills
- Customer service and people skills
- Organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency managing files (digitally and paper based)

How long will it take and what happens after?
Typically, a business traineeship takes around 12 months to complete. At the end, you’ll come out with a nationally accredited Certificate III in Business. Whether you stay with your employer and develop your career within the business or use your traineeship as a pathway for further development – you’ll gain a great base of skills and a nationally recognised qualification to take with you wherever you go.
