Aged Care Traineeship- Cessnock, Maitland, Singleton & Muswellbrook

About the position


Novaskill, in partnership with Cavalry, are recruiting for multiple fulltime aged care trainees in Cessnock, Maitland, Singleton and Muswellbrook. Eligible applicants will have the opportunity to enter the ever growing and developing Aged Care industry, by participating in our pre-vocational program in Certificate III in Individual support (Ageing) with the potential to transition into a fulltime paid traineeship.

About you


As part of our recruitment process applicants will need to be committed to undertaking our 10-day pre-vocational training program held on site at Calvary, as well as complete 90 hours of unpaid practical placement. Upon completion successful candidates will obtain a statement of attainment in Certificate III individual Support (Ageing) and will have the opportunity to progress through to a full-time traineeship as an Assistant in Nursing with Calvary.

To be suited to this role candidates will meet the following criteria:

Have reliable transport

Have a genuine interest in building a career in Aged Care

Dedicated to completing required training

Ability to participate in 90 hours of unpaid practical placement
