The Certificate IV in Ageing Support has been developed to offer participants skills with practical applications in the aged services either in residential, home or community based environments. This course covers all aspects of working with the aged from quality service delivery through to the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.

Who is this for?
The Certificate IV in Ageing Support was developed for people who have completed at least 120 hours of work placement or are working in direct care within the aged care industry and require additional formal qualifications as an advanced patient care assistant.
Students must undertake an initial pre-enrolment assessment to determine their suitability for this level of study. International students require IELTS 5.5 (min) or equivalent.

- Traineeship – 24 months by direct entry – 18 months if trainee holds Certificate III (or until relevant competency is achieved)
